Week 1 – Master Key 2017: Time for the Blueprint Remix

Master-Key-Book-CoverIt is Week 1 of the 2016-2017 Master Key Master Mind Alliance (MKMMA) course.  I got so much out of it last year that I am doing it again.  Now that I am a full-time entrepreneur (I joyfully left Corporate America behind recently), I know that I will enjoy the course even more this year with my more flexible schedule.   I can’t wait to see the amazing things me and my partners in the course will do as a result of this MKMMA training.

Sometimes, we all find ourselves to be “too busy” to accomplish the things that we know we need to do.  Together, we are going to dig in with this course, and defeat the old “blueprint” that can stop us from achieving our dreams if we do not control our thoughts.  This course will allow us to control out thoughts, which makes all of the difference in the world.  A new blueprint – it’s the remix, baby!

The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel is some very potent and heady material to read.   As the week has progressed, I am beginning to immerse myself in it again.   I have picked up some speed reading skills, and those skills actually help comprehension.

blog-Og-Mandino-bookI have begun to again read The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Madino; I highly recommend this truly amazing book.

Quotes from Scroll 1 in Mandino’s book include: “… if I must be a slave to habit, let me be a slave to good habits.”

Another quote:  “…only a habit can subdue another habit.”

Another quote:  “…when an act becomes easy through constant repetition it becomes a pleasure to perform and if it is a pleasure to perform it is man’s nature to perform it often.”

I am also refining – and living by – my Definite Major Purpose (DMP) statement.  It allows me to express my purpose, and focus on the greatest desires of my heart in 400 words or less.  I am rediscovering my “golden” self.  Watch this short Golden Buddha video to understand the metaphor:

Overall, I am feeling incredibly optimistic about my business, my family, and my future as expressed in my DMP statement.  There is much work to be done in this course and in my overall life.  I feel up to the challenge.   And, as we are learning in the course, I always keep my promises!

I am elated to be a Servant Leader who knows, goes and shows the way, and because of this I am very wealthy for life.

I have come so far already.  Today I begin a new life.

It is definitely time to ‘Think and Grow Rich’.
