As we enter 2018, remember that it actually takes far less energy to succeed than it does to fail.
W. Clement Stone taught, “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” Everyone wants to grow their business, but sometimes they neglect the main traction point of the business. For example, in networking marketing, we need to talk to people. That is the traction point. And we want to do this in a skillful way that leaves the people asking us for more information as opposed to us pushing it on them. If we don’t talk to people (the traction point) and we keep our business a secret, we won’t be able to help those people make money for themselves, and we won’t grow our own money-making teams.
In our Master Key Mastermind Alliance (MKMMA) class, we talked about that fact that it is really as simple as asking ourselves…..what am I going to do today to advance my business at the traction point?
Law of Growth: Whatever we think about grows. What we forget atrophies.
And I found out through our MKMMA class about an amazing concept called Neurological Associative Reactive Conditioning (NARC). Animals can’t do it, but humans can. We can associate both positive and negative feeling to anything. It is our choice. Think of food (feasting vs. fasting can both be good) as one example where we can apply NARC. Think of sex (loving sex vs. abstinence can both be good) as another example where we can apply NARC.
Law of Dual Thought: Thought is a combination of ideation and feeling. We can attach any feeling to a thought we want.
We can use this to our advantage to talk to people on a daily basis. I choose to be happy and excited about talking to people. I have the privilege of making what I now call “Million Dollar Presentations” every day. After all, with my help and my expert mentoring, the next great person I talk to could be a super star leader in my business. He or she could enable geometric growth for life for themselves, and for me also. I choose to think of my phone as an ATM Machine for my business. It is all about the idea that I individually choose to attach to the action.
Only humans can do something like this: Attach pain to NOT talking to people about your business, and tossing our dreams in the trash if we choose that path. Attach pleasure to making calls and accelerating the life we have imagined. You must attach feeling on both sides for NARC to be truly effective.
