Week 23 – Master Key 2018: Expanding Our Comfort Zone

Hawaii 2017Sometimes we are told to just “step out of our Comfort Zone” to achieve success.  In reality, that doesn’t really work.  A more realistic view is to EXPAND our Comfort Zone, day-by-day and inch-by-inch.

Most people choose comfort over perceived risk.  We are then left with the life we currently have, and for many people that is not pretty.  The “Comfort Zone” will control us until we choose to control it.

Our MKMMA course is really thought provoking.  Here are the components (the walls) of the Comfort Zone that often constrain us.  Imagine they are trapping you inside a 5-sided fence:

  1. Fear
  2. Guilt
  3. Unworthiness
  4. Hurt Feelings
  5. Anger (sadness is related, sadness is often just anger turned inward)

Remember, you and your DNA have survived the ages.  You have the genetic make-up to improve.

When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.

blog-Comfort-ZoneThese five constraints that keep us in the “Comfort Zone” are actually the tools to use to manifest your new blueprint (using the Law of Dual Thought), and achieve your major goals.  We are now using these tools to change; it is challenging mental labor.  Let’s address each of them.

Fear is a tool that can be positive.  It gives us enormous amounts of energy.  The first step is to remember gratitude; we should be grateful for fear.  When you are really fearful, your concentration is intense.  All distractions are eliminated.  Fear converts thoughts into actions.  Fear gives us the energy and focus to do our best.  We let go of things that are not important.  Imagine being able to summon that state of mind and being able to direct it at our major goals.

Hurt Feelings can be a positive tool.  Acknowledge that you must actually care if you have hurt feelings.   For example, let’s say you want to use a Network Marketing business to get financial freedom, or for your kids to go across the stage at college graduation 100% debt free.   If you get a “NO” from a potential recruit, remind yourself that you only have hurt feelings because you deeply care about your kids walking across stage at college graduation 100% debt free.   Use the Law of Substitution.  Be grateful for the occasional rejections to remind you how much you care.  You can also use the Law of Substitution to remind yourself that your friends are not rejecting you; they just don’t see your Network Marketing business as a match for their own needs for right now.   We can still love our friends, and we can still focus on our business success.

Anger can be a positive tool.  Anger is actually energy, and by the way, sadness is actually anger turned inward.   Use the Laws of Substitution and Dual Thought.  Normally, people can only hold a thought for an average of 6 seconds.  When you are angry, notice the energy and the sustained focus.  You can use the anger toward your major goals, instead of a reason to stop.  There is an old quote from hundreds of years ago, that Frank Sinatra later made famous, “The best revenge is living well.”  If you are angry, get yours by taking positive action and being successful.

Guilt can be a positive tool.  When you feel guilty about not completing some task to advance our major goals, we should feel good.  It means that we know what to do, and that we have the skills and ability to do it.  Ask yourself, “What am I in fear of?”   Emerson taught that if we do the thing we fear, the death of fear is certain.  You already know from the previous paragraphs how to deal with fear.  Let go of the need to be right (or wrong).  Don’t berate yourself or judge yourself, remember you are Nature’s Greatest Miracle.  Don’t beat up yourself for your mistakes.   When you do bad things, it does not make you a bad person.  Guilt is a confirmation of your goodness.

Feeling Unworthy can be a positive tool.  You actually are worthy, so you can have anything you want.  You just can’t have everything at the same time!  You are no longer a child who wants to be a cowboy, pro athlete, school teacher, astronaut, fireman and king or queen.  You must choose!  The things you want have a price and they take time.  Do you want to be a network marketing top earner, parent of the year, caregiver for your elderly parents, community leader, youth soccer coach, a triathlete, AND a leader in your local religious congregation?  Don’t overfill your plate, which leads to no results and eventually feeling unworthy.  Have the humility to choose your priorities, and then be committed to your choice.

Make a choice to use these five things as positive tools, instead of things to hold you back.  It takes determination and practice.  You want to EXPAND your Comfort Zone, day-by-day, just a few inches at a time.  Soon you will be accomplishing your major goals.

Another Quote:  The purpose of life is to discover your gift.  The work of life is to develop it.  The meaning of life is to give your gift away.

These days I always ask myself, “What would the person I intend to become do next?”

Week 22 – Master Key 2018: Miracles Never Cease

Nikki - MercedesHere is my wife with our new Mercedes we earned with Stream.   HAPPY WIFE = HAPPY LIFE.

Recognizing greatness, or any virtue, in others creates greatness in you on demand.  You cannot recognize the virtue if the virtue was not already inside of you.

When we hear the word ‘miracle’ we usually think of something from ancient religious texts.

In our Master Key Master Mind Alliance (MKMMA) course we have learned to make the art and the act of recognition of miracles a daily habit.  But knowledge does not apply itself.   From Hannel’s Master Key System:

You may have all the wealth in Christendom, but unless you recognize it and make use of it, it will have no value; so with your spiritual wealth: unless you recognize it and use it, it will have no value. The one and only condition of spiritual power is use or recognition.

All great things come through recognition; the scepter of power is consciousness, and thought is its messenger, and this messenger is constantly molding the realities of the invisible world into the conditions and environments of your objective world.

Thinking is the true business of life, power is the result. You are at all times dealing with the magical power of thought and consciousness. What results can you expect so long as you remain oblivious to the power which has been placed within your control?

Often people feel trapped by fear, guilt, unworthiness, anger/sadness and hurt feelings.  Those feelings are used as ‘reasons’ for not taking the very actions they know they need to be successful.  But some people have learned that those very feelings can be the tools that can spur us on to success.  Some miraculous advice from our coaches and guides:

When one of these resentments, or whatever causes you to “relive” an unpleasant experience in your life or maybe it’s just pops into your mind, imagine a dear loved one. Get that image in your head, feel the love and take a few deep breaths.

Now imagine the thing you have the resentment at and superimpose the image of the your loved one over the resentment. Use your very powerful imagination for your good. Merge these two things together and breathe deep. Now let go of the resentment part of the image and just feel the love you have for that dear, dear loved one. Just stay with that love for a few breaths and then bask in your own greatness for doing something so marvelous for yourself.

In other words, your conscious mind can only hold one thought at a time.   And YOU have the power to choose that thought.

These days I always ask myself, “What would the person I intend to become do next?”

I am elated to be a Servant Leader who knows, goes and shows the way, and because of this I am very wealthy for life.

Now, three questions to ponder as we sometimes delay the success that is ours to claim:

What am I pretending not to know?

What would the person I intend to become do next?

When will I begin?

This Master Key Master Mind Alliance (MKMMA) course is really delivering results.  An item from previous readings from Hannel:

Try to realize that the day is fast approaching — its dawn is now at hand — when modes of thought and action must be adjusted to rapidly increasing knowledge of the operation of eternal principles.

Weeks ago, we were exposed to the John Wooden Pyramid of Success.  Coach Wooden, of course, is the Hall of Fame basketball coach who won 10 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships with UCLA.  Wooden stated that, “Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best you are capable of becoming.”

I have been working on the virtue of Industriousness, which is one that was also highlighted by American patriot Ben Franklin.  I have now added Enthusiasm and Competitive Greatness.

Wooden described Industriousness, “Very hard work, but hard work is not enough. It must be ignited, lit afire by something that will raise it to the extraordinary level required for success. That ‘something’ is your Enthusiasm which infuses hard work with inspired power that all great competitors have.  Competitive Greatness is having a real love for the hard battle knowing it offers the opportunity to be at your best when your best is required.”

Often people feel trapped by fear, guilt, unworthiness, anger/sadness, and hurt feelings.  Those feelings are used as ‘reasons’ for not taking the actions they know they need to be successful.  But some people have learned that those very feelings can be the tools that can spur us on to success.  More on that in the next few weeks.  Stay tuned!

Week 20 – Master Key 2018: Being Industrious as I Drive My New Free Mercedes

Mercedes BP 3I was honored to be one of six Houston area Associates to receive a new Mercedes-Benz from Stream last week (pictured, 2nd from left).  It was free, but really I earned it by helping my team get over 300 new customers last year.   I earned it through industriousness – working hard and smart.   Building my money-making team and creating an amazing future for myself and the individuals on my team.

In his autobiography, the great Ben Franklin listed his thirteen virtues.  When we focus on one of his virtues, or any virtue, it becomes abundant.  Anything one focuses on becomes abundant.

Some of us are working on taking initiative.  Some of us are working on manifesting kindness.  Some of us are focused on creativity.  I see others stepping up and demonstrating courage.  Another virtue is to be resolute.

I am working on the virtue of being industrious.  Here is a definition:

Industry – Lose no time; be always employed in something useful; cut off all unnecessary actions.

industrious-quoteI have been seeing examples of industriousness all around me:  the waiter giving me great service at the restaurant, the auto shop giving me extra effort to handle those routine maintenance items, and the school teacher giving extra effort to help my daughter.

By being a stellar model of industriousness, my team in my network marketing business can see and follow my example.  They know that they can count on me to know, go and show the way.  When my team follows my lead, they get paid.  And they can earn cars and trips as well.

We reap what we sow.  We don’t want to focus on not being lazy or on not procrastinating.  You can’t claim your reward if you continue to cling to what you lack.  We want to focus on the positive virtue of being industrious.

And, I am not forgetting about the virtue of kindness.  I want to do multiple random acts of kindness each day.  People notice this.
